The boys playing video games--Dec. 19, 2010

Eli is at the stage (which I realize may be a LONG stage) where he wants to do everything that Oliver is doing. So, since Oliver was playing his DSi, Eli thought he should play it too! This was NOT okay with Oliver, so we managed to appease Eli with an old GameBoy instead! As long as it made sounds when he pushed the buttons, Eli was fine. But...

"THIS is the one I really want!"

Santa Oliver--Dec. 19, 2010

After disappearing to his room for awhile, Oliver came out yelling, "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!" I think he had 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants stuffed in there!

Eli playing in the Christmas tree--Dec. 17, 2010

After having the Christmas tree up for about 5 minutes, I realized we were going to need some kind of a gate around the tree this year. All of the shiny ornaments were just too much for Eli!

Despite the gate, Eli tried SO hard to reach the ornaments (and actually managed to get his hands on a few!)

The bag man--Dec. 2, 2010

Eli figured out how to open the kitchen drawers and discovered how much fun it is to empty out Mommy's bag drawer!

What an ornery little boy!

I love these boys!--Nov. 28, 2010

This is how I found the boys one morning! I love them so much!!!

Snowflakes with Great Grandma Yousey--Nov. 25, 2010

For the last several years, the great grandkids (Brett, Addie, Ty, Oliver and now Eli) have helped Great Grandma Yousey decorate the window in her room with crocheted snowflakes. This has become something that both Grandma and the kids look forward to!

Leaves and decorating the Christmas tree--Nov. 24, 2010

We don't have many mature trees in our yard, but we do have one in the front yard that drops a few leaves every year. Oliver and his friend decided to rake up the (very few) leaves and jump in them!

Eli gives the leaves a try and...

...he's not so impressed!

Oliver helping to decorate the family Christmas tree

For the last couple of years, Oliver has had his own Christmas tree in his room...something that he loves! Unlike previous years, this year Oliver really took his time decorating his tree so it looked just the way he wanted it!

What a cutie!
